Kyle Werth

My name is Kyle Werth and I’m originally from Kansas City, Missouri. I’m currently a junior at Missouri State University, majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry. I’m not actually the first in my family to attend MO State, as my sister graduated in the Spring of 2019 with a degree in English Education. She is currently getting a Master’s degree at Missouri Western University. After I finish here at MSU I will hopefully be accepted, depending on my MCAT scores and a few other variables, to an MD program at a dedicated medical school. As of right now I’m looking primarily at MU or UMKC as well as KU as both of my parents are Jayhawk alumni. I have my heart set on being a surgeon, but haven’t nailed down a specific focus or specialty just yet although I have experience shadowing with an orthopedic surgeon here in KC.
